Takayoshi Ouchi

Ōuchi Takayoshi
Tailor and proprietor of Ōuchi Yōfukuten (Ōuchi Clothing Store). His specialty is men's three-piece suits, but his work spans dresses, shirts, denim, and matching sets — almost all made to order. Alongside commissions for his sister Misaki, he collaborates with other artists and retailers, including Mr.&Mrs. Nobody on the second floor of Alter-EGO. His process is meticulous: working from muslin toiles through to fine adjustments, translating thought into cloth and cloth into three-dimensional form. On days without work, he stays home drinking, photographs the occasional pheasant, and makes clothes for himself out of boredom.


「大内洋服店」を営む仕立て屋。メンズのスリーピーススーツを得意としつつ、ドレス、シャツ、デニム、セットアップなど幅広く制作。オーダーメイドを基本とし、姉の大内美沙季をはじめ、Alter-EGO 2階「Mr.&Mrs. Nobody」など、他のアーティストや店舗とのコラボレーションも行う。シーチングでのトワル作成から細部の調整まで、思考を布に落とし込み立体のフォルムへと変換していく緻密な仕事ぶりが特徴。仕事のない日は家で酒を飲み、雉の写真を撮ったり、自分のための服を作ったりしている。
